The Stone County School District invites you to participate in the third annual Tomcat Futures Expo.  Over 750 high school students, parents, and district personnel will visit this event on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Sponsored by the Stone County Economic Development Partnership, Stone County School District, and local business and industry, the Expo showcases future opportunities for educational paths and careers.  Through the event, students and teachers will engage in discussions about careers, workplace expectations, and educational preparation.

This event and the conversations that take place in the classrooms during the week could serve as the first glimpse of a future job and career for some students.  Our goal for the event is to expose our students to the many opportunities available to them through career and educational choices.

The Expo will be in the Henry Rath Activity Center on the Stone High School Campus in Wiggins, MS.  The building will open at 7:30 a.m. for exhibitor set-up and students will arrive around 8:30 a.m. A detailed schedule and additional information will be sent to you in mid-January.

Lunch will again be provided for exhibitors by the award-winning Stone High Culinary Arts program. Door prizes will be awarded to students throughout the day, so you may want to consider having a door prize for the drawing.

Our Stone High School community is looking forward to having you in our school and hearing about opportunities for our students as they plan to further their education and prepare for the job market. So that we may appropriately plan for the day, please complete and return the enclosed pre-addressed card or email us at
