Exchange Student Application

International Exchange Students
Step 1:  Complete the International Exchange Application below. 
Step 2: Submit Supporting Documents including:
  • Nomination from Home University (Your university must notify Millsaps of your nomination). 
  • Academic Transcript (English translation required).
  • Proof of English Proficiency - English language tests, official IELTS or TOEFL scores (if English is the native language the IELTS/TOEFL requirement may be waived). For students whose first language is not English, Millsaps requires IELTS scores of band 6.5 or higher, a minimum score of 80 on the iBT TOEFL TOEFL code is 1471.
  • Copy of Passport – Send a clear scanned copy of your passport identification pages including United States visas or entry stamps.
  • Course Selection – Review the course list on Major Access and complete the attached course selection form indication courses you wish to take while attending Millsaps. List in order of priority and indicate if a course is mandatory. You will be connected with a Millsaps academic advisor to confirm courses after you are admitted.  Courses can not be guaranteed.
  • Financial Verification – This document and proof of funds (banking documents) are required for students applying for an F-1 study visa to the United States. Review the estimated costs on the Cost of Attendance page. (For students on an approved program, tuition waivers will be granted).
Step 3:  If you have questions regarding your application please contact the Director of International Admission, Molly West You will be contacted by the Office of Admission with an admission decision and next steps.
