    The PACCAR Scholarship was established through a generous contribution from the PACCAR Foundation to the Mississippi Alliance of Colleges and Universities (MAICU) in 2024.

    A. General Eligibility

    1. CURRENTLY Pursuing an undergraduate degree at Millsaps College
    2. Full-time enrolled student (minimum 12 credit hours)
    3. Minimum high school GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale 
    4. Pursuing any major, with preference for Business or Computer Science.
    5. Demonstrated financial need via completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
    6. Submission of a résumé evidencing leadership through current community involvement and during high school.

    B. Scholarship Duration

    1. The award covers one academic year.
    2. Prior recipients may reapply.

    C. Selection Process

    1. Scholarship selection process is guided by these weighted criteria:
    • Quality and depth of essay responses (45%)
    • Demonstrated financial need (20%)
    • Academic achievement (20%)
    • Leadership and community involvement (15%)
           2. Preference for Business or Computer Science majors.

    D. Required Documents

    1. Completed essay responses
    2. FAFSA Application
    3. High school transcript and standardized test scores
    4. Résumé

    E. Application Availability and Deadline

    1. Applications will be available by April 1, 2026.
    2. Completed submissions must be received by 12:00pm CT on April 30, 2026 for the 2026-2027 academic year.

    F. Continuing Eligibility

    1. Recipients must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale at the end of each enrollment period.
    2. Recipients must remain in good academic and disciplinary standing.
    3. Awards are non-transferable upon institutional change.

    • Proof of current year FAFSA Completion* 
    • Résumé (See standards in description above)
    *FAFSA information already on file with Millsaps Office of Financial Aid does not need to be resubmitted.
    **Current/HS transcripts and ACT/SAT information on file with Millsaps Office of Records/Admission does not need to be resubmitted.
